In 2008, I began a food pantry in Geauga County, for veterans only.  Our daughter enlisted in the Air Force directly after high school, and was deployed twice to Iraq.  The food pantry was my way of coping with her being in harms way.  I found that there was a great need among the veteran population for a place where they could get food, and understanding.  It's hard for anyone to need help, especially so for our veterans, who are used to giving help and aid, not receiving it.

The pantry serves Veterans, active-duty, their families and dependents in Geauga County.  We have served veterans from WWII to present.
